Very friendly staff and the room was great! Despite being so close to the A1 it was very quiet. Dog friendly too!
I stopped here 1/4/20225 I work away from home During the week. Stayed in many places. The lady on reception who had the late shift was so friendly made me feel so welcome. We chatted for ages. She is a credit to your company. For that warm welcome I will be returning. Many thanks Tony.
We arrived late afternoon and was met by our host/ receptionist/ cleaner Rob who was a very pleasant and helpfully polite young man. He explained everything we needed to know to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We gave the service 5 stars because of Rob, but 4 stars for the hotel because there were no power sockets beside or next to the comfortably large bed. Rob provided us with an extension power lead so that we could make use of personal medical equipment.

Stopped for one night. Great location and handy for getting on and off the A1. Nicole on reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and fresh, and it appears they have renovated the rooms as the bathroom was new. There is a Burger King and Greggs attached to the hotel.
Driver needed a break before continuing home, we decided against a chilly and unconfortable couple of hours in the car in favour of a room for the night. Friendly helpful lady in reception helped us book and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Great value in my opinion.
Can't fault a Travelodge, you get what you pay for, the bed and room was clean and comfortable, they had tea/ coffee making facility in room. The only thing I would like them to do is to fit blackout curtains in the rooms and a set of drawers for storage, the room was large enough to allow for additional furniture.
